This belongs to a body of work produced for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Magazin under the art direction of Hans-Georg Pospischil and
Peter Breul ( from 1986 until its closure in 1999).The Seven Deadly
Sins’ main pieces were all published in one issue in May 1987 with text
by the philosophy editor Jurgen Werner. Each sin was then revisited and
further illustrated with 5 to 8 extra images.The last series was
published in December 1996.
Paola pitched this project to the magazine and it remains one of her
favourite jobs.
